Summer Vacation

This summer has been very hot, hasn't it? How was your summer vacation? Where did you go? When I was a child, I always looked forward to the summer holiday, because it meant I got to meet my grandparents. My parents, brother and I lived in London, which is the capital city of England. London was busy, smoky, foggy and mostly grey, apart from the red buses which whizzed by. My grandparents lived near the ocean. We were excited to go there, because we could run on the sand, and swim in the waves. At the weekend, grandfather bought us ice cream. Do you know what is the difference between English ice cream and Japanese ice cream?In England, ice cream has only 3 flavors: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.
